Using Zmags I have designed and built various dynamic web pages and content blocks which have been used to increase engagement and interaction on-site.
BUYERS’ GUIDE PAGE
One of the first pages I redesigned in Zmags was our Buyer’s Guide page. Previously this page was just a solid page of text (first image) and despite having a lot of visits, the page had 0 page value. After taking the information contained in this page and refreshing the information, I created a new Buyer’s Guide page that is much more interactive, engaging and informative.
The page now has one of the highest page values across the site and was also featured in Zmags’ own Best Website Use Cases Webinar and currently has one of the highest page values of the entire website.
HOMEPAGE REDESIGNS
The first image shows how our homepage looked when I first joined the business in March 2019. The second image shows the first redesign that we completed in late 2019/2020. The third image shows the latest proposed redesign I put forwards a few months ago.
The redesigns are taken from analysing heat maps on HotJar to see how people are using the current page alongside tracking links on GA. I then research competitors to see what others have included that we were missing etc. This then led to creating lists of content required on the HP, drawing up wireframes to creating a prototype in MarvelApp for our developers to use as a reference point. This is now in the process of being developed and will be live spring 2023.

EMAIL MARKETING
Over the last 14 months, alongside my role as graphic designer, I have been given the role of email marketing lead. I am responsible for planning, designing, and building all of our ad-hoc and automated emails campaigns. I have improved overall email revenue, recently driving 22% of the company’s overall website revenue through campaigns. Alongside increasing OR% from 9% to 47-58% and CR% from 0.4% to 2.9%.
