SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER | 2019 - 2023
Alongside my work for Rattan Direct, I also designed for their sister brand, Lifestyle Furniture. While the two brands share the same roots, they couldn’t be more different in style and audience. Rattan Direct leaned towards timeless, premium outdoor furniture, whereas Lifestyle Furniture focused more on a bold, modern design aimed at a younger, trend-conscious demographic.
Working across both brands gave me the chance to flex my creativity and adapt my approach. I was involved in everything from refreshing visual assets and improving on-site content to designing marketing materials and email campaigns tailored to each brand’s unique personality.
This experience taught me how to balance two contrasting identities under one umbrella, maintaining consistency where it mattered while ensuring each brand spoke clearly to its own audience. It was a rewarding challenge that strengthened both my versatility and strategic design thinking.

Email Marketing
For Lifestyle Furniture, I also took on responsibility for email marketing e.g. researching, planning, designing, and building both ad-hoc and automated campaigns. The brand’s younger, more style-led audience meant I could experiment with bolder visuals, playful messaging, and trend-driven layouts to keep the content fresh and engaging.
Working on these campaigns gave me the opportunity to blend creativity with strategy, ensuring every send felt true to the brand while driving results. Below, you can take a look at some of the Lifestyle Furniture emails I designed and brought to life.
Web Design
I worked on a variety of web design projects for Lifestyle Furniture, creating visuals that captured the brand’s modern, trend-led aesthetic. This included designing homepage banners, icons, wireframes, landing page layouts, and other interactive elements that helped bring the website to life.
I also contributed to the wider site redesign, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all pages while improving usability and user experience. This work gave me the chance to combine creativity with practicality, producing designs that not only looked great but also connected with the brand’s younger, style-conscious audience.
Social Content
Working closely with the social media manager, I created a wide range of content including posts, stories, and paid ads, all designed to reflect Lifestyle Furniture’s modern and aspirational tone. Each brief came with its own creative challenge. From promoting key offers and new collections to producing engaging lifestyle content that resonated with our audience.
I focused on keeping the visuals cohesive across channels while tailoring each design for the platform it appeared on. This collaboration helped strengthen the brand’s online presence and maintain a consistent visual identity across all touchpoints.
Campaigns
Each month, we launched a new promotional campaign featuring fresh offers and seasonal messaging. Every campaign had its own theme, which I translated across multiple channels from homepage banners and landing pages to thumbnails, mobile elements, affiliate banners, emails, and social media content.
This work required a balance of creativity and consistency, ensuring the campaign felt cohesive across every touchpoint while still standing out in each format.
Rattan Direct
Rattan Direct is the sister brand of Lifestyle Furniture, but it has a very different style and audience. While Lifestyle Furniture leans into a contemporary, trend-led aesthetic aimed at a younger demographic, Rattan Direct focuses on classic, timeless designs for a more traditional audience. Working across both brands has allowed me to adapt my design approach to suit different tones, audiences, and visual identities, making sure each brand’s personality comes through while maintaining creativity and consistency.
